very interesting
im planning on getting either a macbook or a macbook pro
I've considered selling my laptop so I could upgrade to these new laptops, but I will see.
Anyways, thank you for commenting!
i have a question, though: is it possible to build in a graphics chip after purchase?? I was a bit disappointed having to read that basic 3d graphics dont run on the macbook. upgrading the graphics would be an option I was thinking of....
thanks
Unfortunately, there is no way to do that. There might be a way to hack a MacBook to use dedicated graphics, but it probably isn't worth it.
It is disappointing. I can't do much video editing or hardcore photo editing like I was planning on doing.
The new MacBooks will supposedly have dedicated graphics. Looks like I purchased a few months too early. :(
Sorry.
when do you think the new macbooks are planned on coming out??
in a week im going to america to a boarding school for a year, and im planning on getting a macbook there.
i would buy it in about a weeks time....
ive been waiting for 2 months now for the new macbooks, been checking the apple website daily, and still nothing. do you think theyll be out in time for me??

I'm sure this would be as a result of the "back to school" sales that go on around here.
I'm sure you will be able to pick one up. :)
im looking forward to owning a macbook!! :))
try nexiuz!!
thanks again for your help!!

I am picking one up next week for my home studio and this review has helped me put the cap on it! I really just need it for better audio production for the studio and my band. I also plan to do a traveling studio deal. What I'm using now is a trusty little Dell C640, Windows XP with a 1GB RAM upgrade. With the upgrade I still have lag and all kinds of irritating problems. Oh, the PC only has ONE USB port which is so aggravating in itself for many reasons.
Anyways, THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATIVE REVIEW!
